The Swimming Pool
From Memorial Day Weekend until a week after Labor Day, the Brookside Pool is the most bustling venue at the Club. Under the direction of Pool Supervisor, Cindy Thiessen, families and guests relax and enjoy the hot, Ohio summer days while swimming and splashing in the crystal clear waters of the Brookside Pool which boasts a 25-yard, 6-lane competition pool with a zero-entry shallow end for the smallest of swimmers. Water temperature is kept at a comfortable 82 – 84 degrees. The Poolside Café offers a complete lunch menu including delicious summer-time sandwiches, salads, ice cream, drinks and snacks.
Junior Activities
The Brookside Swim Team competes each summer with other area swim teams, and at the end of the season, the swim team members are honored at the Sports Banquet.
The Brookside pool offers 2 sessions of 4 week group swim lessons. Private swim lessons are offered to anyone who wants the one on one with their child, plus at a time that works with their schedule. All lessons are sanctioned by the American Red Cross.
